Describe current and past community involvement: 
Kimberly serves on the Wood County Parks Board of Directors, is a member of the local BG Chamber of Commerce and served as a liason for new members. Kimberly graduated from the BG Leadership program and volunteers for fundraising for various charities such as Habitat for Humanity.

Financial Oversight Experience:
As an owner of a previous real estate franchise and an independently owned office, Kimberly has experience in budgeting, reviewing profit and loss statements. As a board member for Wood County Parks District, it is her responsibility to help approve annual budgets and spending and whether to diversify income streams, etc. In addition, as an owner of real estate investments, it is her responsibility to monitor accounts and do financial forecasting.

Government Affairs Experience: 
Kimberly is responsible for reviewing policies of the government that may affect the business and making sure her company is adhering to policies and procedures. She specifically focuses on policies about employment, taxes, levies, federal firearms laws (since they hold an FFL license), tenant laws, etc. Any changes in policies that could affect the above would be her responsibility to assure her company is up to date and follows any policies that may need to be updated and monitored.

Communications Experience:
It is Kimberly’s responsibility to listen, inform, build trust with clients, staff, employees, tenants, and board members. She enjoys motivating others to be their best and helping to bring out their confidence. She has empathy and respect for other’s opinions which she finds is a rare quality these days.

Strategic Planning Experience: 
Kimberly believes this involves having a plan, prioritizing objectives, and then executing. She believes she does this on a daily basis with personal goals, company goals, etc. Understanding the needs of where her business needs to be and developing a plan to get there is imperative to any successful business partner, marriage, and personal growth.

Technology Experience:
Technology is also ever-changing and the ability to change ways of doing business is crucial to growth and the needs and desires of end-users. Her auction business is a prime example. She observed firsthand the trends of the internet, buying habits, etc which is the prime reason she took the auction business to all online. They were years ahead of the auction industry in general by developing a plan, reviewing platforms, and getting their business 100% online. They are constantly updating their technology to keep up with the trends of the industry and end-users.

Real Estate Trends Experience:
Having survived the first major recession in the real estate industry has helped Kimberly keep an eye on current market trends and assisting clients with that knowledge to have the best outcome based on their individual needs. It has also changed the way in which she markets homes, markets to generate leads, and retains business. She has experience in evaluating and researching trends that affect the business.

Leadership Experience:
Kimberly believes she has the reputation of being a leader in the real estate industry as she has owned and operated successful offices. She enjoys mentoring others, acting consistently positive, and being transparent. She likes to think she leads by example. Her best accomplishment so far is leading her kids into their adult lives being true entrepreneurs and being successful self-employed individuals.

Why does Kimberly wish to be a Director:
Kimberly would be honored to serve as a director on the board and continue serving in the industry she loves. She has a passion for the real estate industry and believes she may have an influence on any policies that may assist the generations to come in the endeavors of being licensed in real estate. She has the time and experience to get more involved at the local and state levels. She is dedicated and committed to the responsibilities set forth. She is willing and prepared to learn and bring a level of excellence to our profession for the betterment of our community and professionals that serve in a real estate sales capacity. She enjoys learning every day in this ever-changing world we live in. She would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve.
