Northwest Ohio Housing Market Shows Strong Start to the Year
The Northwest Ohio housing market continued to show steady activity in February, with home sales increasing and prices continuing to rise across the region, according to Northwest Ohio REALTORS® (NOR) and the NORIS Multiple Listing Service.
Buyers remained active in the single-family home market, helping drive more sales and higher home values compared to the same time last year. At the same time, the number of homes coming onto the market dipped slightly, keeping inventory relatively tight in many communities.
“Even with fewer homes being listed, buyers are still very active across Northwest Ohio,” said NOR President, Shalonda Thurmond. “We’re continuing to see strong demand for homes, and that demand is helping support rising home values across our region.”
Through the first two months of the year, the market has seen more homes sold and a noticeable increase in overall sales volume, reflecting continued confidence from both buyers and sellers.
The condo and villa market also saw positive movement in February, with more homes selling and properties moving more quickly compared to last year.
Overall, the Northwest Ohio housing market remains stable and competitive, with steady demand and home values continuing to grow as the spring homebuying season approaches.
