I am seeking a position on the Board of Directors for Northwest Ohio REALTORS because I am passionate about contributing to the growth and success of our real estate community. With my experience in leadership roles, such as serving as the Women’s Council of REALTORS’ 2022 & 2023 Toledo President and the 2024 First Vice President of Ohio, I understand the importance of strategic decision-making, collaboration, and supporting fellow professionals. I am committed to fostering an environment where our members can thrive, and I want to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to help advance the goals of our organization for the benefit of both REALTORS and the clients we serve.

FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT EXPERIENCE

In 2022 and 2023, I was responsible for creating the budget and business plan for the Women’s Council of REALTORS Toledo Network, collaborating closely with our local treasurer. Through strategic planning and careful financial oversight, we successfully stayed within or under budget both years I served as Toledo President. Now, as the 2024 Women’s Council of REALTORS Ohio First Vice President, I am working with our state treasurer on budgeting at the state level, while also assisting seven other networks in Ohio with their business planning and budgeting for the current year and incoming 2025 board members. My experience reflects a strong commitment to financial responsibility and strategic oversight.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE

As the President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS Toledo Network and now serving as the First Vice President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS Ohio, I have developed a strong understanding of government affairs and their impact on the real estate industry. My leadership roles have provided opportunities to stay informed on legislative issues, advocate for policies that support our profession, and engage with local and state leaders.

COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE

Throughout my roles as the 2022 & 2023 Women’s Council of REALTORS Toledo President and the 2024 Women’s Council of REALTORS Ohio First Vice President, I have developed strong communication skills by working closely with board members. My ability to clearly articulate goals, facilitate collaboration, and ensure alignment has been essential in successfully executing business plans and budgets. Whether motivating teams, engaging with other networks, or coordinating with leadership, my commitment to open and effective communication drives success and fosters strong, cohesive teams.

Throughout my tenure as the 2022 & 2023 Women’s Council of REALTORS Toledo President, and in my current role as the 2024 Women’s Council of REALTORS First Vice President of Ohio, I have honed my strengths in strategic planning by working closely with board members to establish and execute long-term goals. I have successfully motivated teams, managed event budgets, and driven membership growth and retention. My experience also includes aligning board members toward common objectives, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective action plans. Additionally, I have fostered collaboration with members outside of our board members, leveraging diverse insights to enhance our events and ensure sustained membership success.

In just the short five years I have been a licensed REALTOR in Ohio and Michigan, technology has transformed the real estate industry in remarkable ways. From virtual tours and digital marketing to advanced data analytics, staying competitive in this fast-paced market requires adapting to the latest trends. I have embraced these technological advancements to enhance my branding, and offer clients a more efficient and personalized experience. By leveraging social media, and multiple online platforms I have been able to stay ahead in an ever-evolving market, ensuring my clients receive the most up-to-date insights and services.

REAL ESTATE TRENDS EXPERIENCE

Since obtaining my real estate license in 2019 in Ohio and Michigan in 2020, I have gained valuable experience navigating diverse market trends across state lines. I have closely followed shifts in the housing market, from fluctuations in interest rates to evolving buyer preferences, and have adapted my approach to meet these changes. My expertise includes guiding clients through competitive markets, understanding local and regional real estate trends, and providing strategic advice to buyers and sellers.
