WHY DO YOU WANT TO SERVE AS A DIRECTOR?

I have always tried to stay involved at Northwest Ohio REALTORS dating back to 1992 when I first served as a Director and then for nearly 19 years as a NORIS Board member and currently as a current director from 2021-2024. My years of experience give me great knowledge and wisdom to help lead the board into the future.

FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT EXPERIENCE

I was the NORIS Vice Chair/Treasurer from 2005-2021 and have a great understanding of the Board’s finances and resources.
Having minored in Accounting at Ohio State, it gives me the skills to read and understand profit and loss and balance sheets.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE

My Government Affairs involvement started back in 1986 when I was appointed to the Waterville Charter Review Committee and then again in 1989.
I have also served on the Ohio REALTORS Government Affairs Committee over the years.
And I served on the committee to review candidates for public office through the Northwest Ohio REALTORS.

COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE

Communication is the key to running a successful organization, one of my strengths is the art of communication. With close to 400 REALTORS in the Northwest Ohio area, it is imperative to have valuable communication skills.

STRATEGIC PLANNING EXPERIENCE

Having served on the local board, I have participated in numerous Strategic Planning sessions throughout the years.

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE

Having majored in Computer Science for years, I am very “techy” when it comes to computers and technology.

REAL ESTATE TRENDS EXPERIENCE

I stay on top of all the Local, State and National issues affecting the Real Estate Industry through various means of communication.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Having owned my own businesses for nearly 30 years gives me the leadership qualities needed.
