FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT EXPERIENCE
In my previous career, I was an executive with the Blanchard Valley Health System. I had oversight and direct responsibility for an operating budget of $600M+. This included budgeting, income statement analysis, planning, capital planning, etc…
Currently, I am the owner/operator of several companies. I handle all financial aspects for our real estate team, a restaurant and a detail shop. I also sit on the State Bank Advisory Board.
STRATEGIC PLANNING EXPERIENCE
I have years of strategic planning experience with a highly complex organization.
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE
I am a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Group. I was also asked by the Mayor of Findlay to be a member of the city’s rotating loan board. My connections to local government officials are direct and frequent.
REAL ESTATE TRENDS EXPERIENCE
I stay up to date on real estate trends through reading articles and literature on those trends. I have also attended state and national conferences in real estate.
COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE
I have experience with presenting to large groups and numerous boards. As an executive, strong communication skills were imperative. Written communication in the form of presentations, reports and messaging is a strength.
TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE
I am able to utilize the technology available to me in real estate and in general. I would not consider myself on the cutting edge of technology but can easily learn when presented with something new.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Eighteen years as an executive for a healthcare system provided intense and expansive leadership training and opportunities. I have specialized training in customer service, financial analysis, human resource management, strategic planning, capital budgeting, and budgeting. I was responsible for the management of 600+ associates from all aspects of healthcare including physicians. In real estate, I assist in leading our team of agents which involves assisting them with training and education.
