Why I Aspire to Join the Northwest Ohio Realtors Board of Directors: A Path Towards Leaving a lasting legacy

Within the realm of professionalism, both in my personal life and within the real estate industry, I have strived to embody the epitome of excellence. Initially, my objective was to become an exceptional Realtor, but as time went on, a deep-seated desire to contribute to the real estate community took root within me. This longing has led me to aspire to fulfill a crucial role as a director on the esteemed NOR Board of Directors.

My intention in pursuing this position is to impart my extensive knowledge and years of experience to fellow Realtors who share the same genuine passion for upholding high standards in our field. Understanding that this opportunity with the NOR Board is just the beginning of an exhilarating journey, I am eager to take on the role of a mentor and guide for new professionals entering the industry.

By becoming a part of the NOR Board of Directors, I hope to be a catalyst for positive change and contribute to something greater than myself. The real estate industry has given me countless opportunities, and I believe it is only fitting to give back and create a wonderful legacy that will benefit both present and future generations.

In essence, my desire to serve on the NOR Board of Directors stems from a genuine longing to make a meaningful impact and leave a lasting legacy within the industry. I am committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, and I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with fellow Realtors. Through this role, I aim to mentor and guide new professionals, contributing to the growth and success of the real estate community. Joining NOR’s Board of Directors is not only a personal aspiration but also an opportunity to give back to an industry that has provided me with so much.

Throughout my 29 years, I have had the privilege of serving on various boards and committees, including Purchase Agreement Updates, Apartment Manager Standards Committee, and past Annual Party Committee. These experiences have further fueled my passion for making a positive impact within the real estate industry.

In the past 10 years, I have served on the Susan G. Komen walk by helping with preparation for walk and raising donations.
In the past 7 to 10 years I was the Director of the State of Ohio International Pageants. I have dedicated myself to the world of scholarship programs /pageants, where I have played an instrumental role in assisting young women in achieving their dreams and accessing various scholarship programs in the beautiful state of Ohio. Through my involvement, I have had the privilege of helping these girls navigate the competitive landscape and reach new heights in their personal and academic pursuits. By providing guidance and support, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact these scholarship opportunities can have on their lives. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am honored to have been a part of their journeys towards success. Over the past years, I was able to secure over $150,000.00 in scholarship money for my constituents.

FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT EXPERIENCE

Throughout my career, I have consistently overseen my professional goals and business budgets on an annual basis. Prior to venturing into the real estate industry, I spent seven years as a property manager, where I successfully supervised three properties and managed their respective budgets. During this time, I excelled in ensuring the financial success of each property, diligently monitoring expenses, and maximizing profitability. My commitment to meticulous financial management enabled all of my properties to thrive and flourish under my supervision.

I am constantly seeking to stay ahead of the industry, I diligently keep myself updated on the latest trends and developments. I am committed to being at the forefront of innovation, always striving to be one step ahead. In fact, I often go beyond simply following trends and aim to create my own. By pushing boundaries and thinking outside the box, I seek to bring fresh ideas and approaches to my field. This proactive mindset allows me to offer unique and innovative solutions to challenges, ultimately setting me apart as a forward-thinking professional.

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

As the Vice President of Visit Perrysburg Board 2023, I have actively engaged in strategic reviewing of the successful management of our city’s Visiting Bureau budget for the year. In addition to this responsibility, I have also dedicated my efforts to help promote our city and its attractions, history, parks, shopping, stunning hotels, and locally vibrant farmers markets, in order to entice more visitors to experience the greatness of Perrysburg. By actively participating in the board’s strategic planning initiatives, I have been able to contribute to the overall growth and prosperity of our city, creating an environment that is welcoming and appealing to both visitors and residents
