Why do you want to serve as a Director?
I am excited about the opportunity to be involved at a board level to act as a liaison between the HREA and NOR. My knowledge of the needs of HREA agents and our new office location in Maumee gives me a unique understanding that I feel can benefit all parties.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Findlay
Position Held in Company:
Sales Manager/Relocation Director

- HREA Forms Committee (2020 & 2022)
- NOR Vendor/Third Party Application Review Committee, 2021

Financial Oversight:
My experience in financial oversight includes analysis with our Broker/Owner regarding office operations and system analysis. In addition, I held the Secretary/Treasurer position for the Maumee Bay – Business Networking International group.
Communications:
I have recently held Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer roles in BNI requiring both public speaking on a regular basis as well as verbal and email communication. Prior to being in real estate, I was in the marketing department for Horse Shows In The Sun, an international events company operating out of six locations in the US. We wrote press releases, provided customer service, and created email campaigns and video communications for our target markets.
Strategic Planning Experience:
Our office underwent a brand change in November of 2020. I was intimately involved with the strategic planning for this change. We knew it was vital in how we involved the agents, communicated to the public and ultimately created a smooth transition during a pandemic. In a previous role: Strategic planning and implementation team for a $150,000 valued media partnership with Greater Palm Spring Visitors Bureau. Gained access to an unlimited number of new customers and spectators for HITS. Developed video advertisements and communication for all social media platforms and both companies’ websites.
Technology Experience:
I’m a millennial.
Real Estate Trends Experience:
Being the Sales Manager & Mentor Coordinator for our company it is imperative that I stay on top of industry trends. Agents consistently ask about how things are being handled and how information is being communicated by clients and agents. Understanding and communicating these trends helps our office serve our clients better. In the Relocation Director role, I am frequently working with clients’ relocation managers who are unfamiliar with our market and I am required to communicate trends accurately.
Leadership Experience:
One of my favorite projects has been to create a mentorship program for brand new licensees. Our goal for new agents is to be well-trained and confident in the services and advice they are offering clients and to build a sustainable business. Their training is a mix of shadowing experienced agents, technology/systems, and online webinars. We have seen great success from the agents who have participated and I love being a piece of their new career and the excitement they bring to the office.
