Describe current and past community involvement:
Emily is currently a Children’s Pastor at her church (unpaid position). She participated in National Women’s Build Day with Habitat for Humanity and has helped with multiple back to school giveaway programs as well as community Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs.
Financial Oversight Experience:
Emily currently oversees all her real estate business finances. Before entering real estate, she was the office manager for a multi-million dollar construction firm. She handled all accounts payable, receivable, and all purchase order forms.
Government Affairs Experience: N/A
Emily handles all communications to and from her clients in real estate. Before real estate, she was the executive assistant for a wealth management firm. She handled all appointments and communications with the agents, being sure they followed government compliance laws. She also handles all communications for the children’s ministry of her 300+ member church.
Strategic Planning Experience:
Each year, Emily sets a strategic plan in place for her real estate business. She also helped formulate a business plan for her church children’s ministry. That ministry has set a vision, mission statement, and a strategic plan for growth in place.
Emily is well versed in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms.
Real Estate Trends Experience:
Through the help of her broker, NOR, and NAR, Emily keeps up to date on local, and national real estate trends.
Emily is a graduate of the Leadership Academy. She is also the leader of the church Women’s Council and she serves as a Pastor and event planner.
Why does Emily wish to be a Director:
After graduating from Leadership Academy, Emily had a new appreciation for the board, and what they do. She has a desire to be involved, and to give back. Even though she has only been licensed for a short time, this career has given her and her family so much. She hopes she can become an even better Realtor, board member, and community advocate through serving on the board.
